Bringing the new into the now. We turn visions into reality and build optimistic futures.
At Beta Realities, we bring new ideas into the present through strong co-creation and collaboration. Founded in 2023 by architects Marvin Bratke and Paul Clemens Bart, our studio is dedicated to innovative, circular, and transformative architecture and design.
With offices in New York City and Berlin, Beta Realities operates more as an innovation hub than a traditional architecture studio. We see ourselves as a bridge for spatial innovation, exploring creative and strategic ways to improve how we use and interact with physical spaces. Our visionary team of experts in architecture, interior design, product design, and research works to build a better future. We combine new technologies to tackle today's challenges and use predictive planning to anticipate tomorrow's.
Seeing possibilities beyond form and function.
Motivated by a belief in a better tomorrow and a shared vision that architecture and design can improve our lives, Marvin Bratke and Paul Clemens Bart recognize this pivotal moment in human history. They understand that the future is unwritten and believe in the potential to create surroundings that actively contribute to extraordinary everyday life. They see the responsibility of architects to develop resilient, long-term solutions that improve life—creating spaces and environments designed to last and benefit those to come.

Design that innovates starts with future planning
Spaces shape our behavior, which is why we design flexible, multi-purpose solutions that adapt to changing lifestyles and cultures. We partner closely with our clients, using a hands-on approach to create unique solutions. By collaborating and embracing diverse perspectives, we focus on innovation and continually refine our ideas for a better tomorrow.
Design that adapts to our shifting landscapes.
Our cities have to fundamentally change from static and permanent structures to dynamic and human-centred systems. For this reason we work on dynamic landscapes—ranging from new co-living concepts to the future of workspaces and connected infrastructure. With a shared future in mind, our architecture and design can improve how we live together, bringing us closer and creating meaningful places for everyone.
Our Collaborative Process
We begin by building strong relationships with our clients to understand their needs. This leads to creativity and ownership. In prototyping and development, we focus on delivering results that go beyond expectations. We design flexible solutions that adapt to change. Our process emphasizes collaboration and a clear grasp of each project's unique demands. From strategy to final product, we believe hands-on creation brings ideas to life.
A creative lab for architecture in Berlin
Our studio in Berlin is in the heart of Kreuzberg, a neighborhood that blends culture, arts, and lifestyle. This vibrant environment inspires us as we explore new ideas in architecture, from early design to rethinking how we build spaces for modern living. We draw inspiration from the city's spirit of reinvention and openness to change.
A factory for design in New York City
Our New York City office is located in the reinvented DUMBO area of Brooklyn, surrounded by design studios and creative energy. Our co-working space is in a former warehouse, encouraging open conversations about the future of design. From our office, we enjoy a stunning view of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, where we collaborate with other creatives and engineers.
